GYM RULES
WITHIN THE GYM

Only coaches and athletes in a training session are allowed on the gym floor or equipment. Parents are not allowed inside the gym, but can watch from outside the roller door.

Always respect the equipment and facilities at the gym.

There will be no arguing or questioning of the coaching staff’s decisions at training or competitions.

No profanity or abusive language at training, competitions or over the phone will be tolerated and may result in removal from the program.

No gossip will be tolerated about athletes, coaches or any staff of Shire Elite or any other team. It is much better to address a problem with us than listen to idle gossip.

Personal items should be placed in the locker room and not left around the gym. NO personal items are to be left in the locker room and must be taken home. Shire Elite will not be held responsible for lost items.

No food, drink or gum on the cheer floor or equipment.

Take away/junk food such as McDonalds, Oporto, KFC or frozen drinks (e.g. slushies) are not allowed to be brought into the gym.

No phones in use during your training times unless permission is given to film skills by your coach. They must be put away on silent or turned off.

Shire Elite is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
OUTSIDE THE GYM

For Cheer Elite teams: Please do not post 'current season' full routines to social media until the current competition season has finished. Please feel free to share in our private FB group; SE Fam or share with family and friends privately.

Do not, under any circumstances, contact event providers, other gyms coaches or owners.

No training at another cheer gym or with other gyms’ coaches’ without prior approval.

No athlete or parent may post inappropriate, rude or negative messages relating to Shire Elite, another program or an individual on any social media site including, but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, etc.

Competition uniforms are for official functions and competitions only; they are not to be worn at outside events (e.g. themed parties).

Use of brand: We appreciate the gesture to want to use our name or logo on your own personal items. However, as the copyright and trademark owner of our name and logo, we have our own suppliers with whom we produce items and have complete control over the quality of the work. Our brand is very important to us and is solely ours. Please do not reproduce or make to be produced anything using our name, variation of the name, or image without our explicit written permission.

Athletes and parents are expected to always exhibit good sportsmanship and show respect for coaches, teammates, other athletes, parents, judges, officials, spectators and opposing team’s athletes, coaches and spectators at all times.

Lastly, be modest in success and be gracious in defeat.
